OGONI: MORE TROUBLES FOR JUSTICE IBRAHIM AUTA AS COMR. AKPOBARI CELESTINE CALLS FOR HIS TRIAL AND THE RETRIAL OF KEN SARO-WIWA, 21 YEARS AFTER! BY FYNEFACE DUMNAMENE FYNEFACE

It is no longer news that Justice Ibrahim Auta who is currently suspended by the NJC for judicial corruption and facing corruption charges with the EFCC. It is on record that he played significant role in the death of Ken Saro-Wiwa 21 years ago.
The news now is that AkpoBari, an Ogoni-born human and environmental rights activist has added to his many troubles by calling for his trial for corruption kangaroo trial and killing of Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight others in 1995.
Comrade AkpoBari Celestine, who is also the National Coordinator of Ogoni Solidarity Forum (OSF) made the call during a press conference at Barcelona Hotel, Abuja on November 4, 2016. He also demanded that the Nigerian Customs Service obeys National Assembly's recommendation to free Saro-Wiwa Memorial Bus confiscated in September, 2015 by Muhammed Ali (rtd), another man that played a role in the killing of Saro-Wiwa in 1995.
Comrade, AkpoBari argued further that for Justice Auta to be allegedly accused of corruption in 2016 implies that he must have been corrupt throughout his career, accepting bribes and perverting justice including during the trials of Ogoni 9 that led to their killing. Hence the need to posthumously retry the Ogoni 9 and quash the murder charges against them. 
Comrade Celestine also called for the immediate implementation of the UNEP Report on Ogoniland released since August 4, 2011.
