BORI DIOCESE OF METHODIST CHURCH NIGERIA GETS NEW BISHOP ENTHRONED~Front Page Reporters

The Rt. Rev. Victor Eyo Effiom, a brand new bishop elected at the last conference of Methodist Church Nigeria held in 2016 at Abuja and translated to Bori Diocese was yesterday, Sunday 5th February 2017 enthroned to man the leadership of the diocese.

Rt. Rev. Victor E. Effiom hails from Efik tribe of Cross Rivers State. He is married to a beautiful woman, Mrs. Uduak Victor Effiom and their marriage is blessed with one child. He is an enthusiastic, conscientious and highly innovated individual. A quick learner and adaptable to different work environments.

He succeeds the 2nd Bishop of Bori diocese, the Rt. Rev. Vincent Innocent Ndinwi who is also being translated to serve Methodist Church Nigeria in another diocese.

The rites of Enthronement Service is conducted by the Archbishop of Port-Harcourt Diocese, The Most Rev. S.I.O Agwu.

In attendance of the enthronement service were members of Methodist Church in the Diocese of Bori and beyond, clergymen both within and beyond Methodist Church Nigeria, The governor of Rivers State represented by the Secretary to State Governmnet, Hon. Kenneth Kobani, Distinguished Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, Senator representing Rivers South East Senatorial District represented by Chf. Hon. Friday Nke-eeh, Member RSHA, CTC Chairman of Khana LGA and other government officials.
