Rivers South East Senatorial Battle: The Poll Result. ~Fred G. D.

During the U.S electioneering period, Hillary Clinton got big hopes even from the incumbent U.S President, and even from all of us who has just minute or no contribution to make her win the contest. But Donald Trump built his assurances, not relying on dead hopes and it was recorded unto him as win. He emerged! Down here, similar scenario is playing out, people are living on frivolous hopes, but guess what, you shouldn't be an octopus or Prophet... for you not to argue blindly over the expected outcome of the election that will hold 10th Dec. in Rivers South East, to know that very recent history will repeat itself, to realise that empty hopes cannot earn a win in election contest. And so, I advice those feeding one candidate with empty hopes to continue till the last point of his/her failure. Hence, rubbishing his political career and zeroing him to mockery as they intend. The beep of a text message woke me up on that fateful day. My eyes were still heavy and so I reckoned that I needed a little more sleep. It is no longer news that Justice Ibrahim Auta who is currently suspended by the NJC for judicial corruption and facing corruption charges with the EFCC. It is on record that he played significant role in the death of Ken Saro-Wiwa 21 years ago. The news now is that AkpoBari, an Ogoni-born human and environmental rights activist has added to his many troubles by callin g for his trial for corruption kangaroo trial and killing of Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight others in 1995. Comrade  AkpoBari Celestine , who is also the National Coordinator of Ogoni Solidarity Forum (OSF) made the call during a press conference at Barcelona Hotel, Abuja on November 4, 2016.
